Terms of sale
Last updated: 4 May 2026
These Terms of Sale apply to purchases made through moranelle.com. By placing an order on the website, you agree to these Terms of Sale, our Privacy Policy, our Shipping Policy, and our Returns & Refunds Policy.
Moranelle sells physical fine-art prints and, where applicable, digital products made available on the website.
1. Products
1.1 Physical Products
Moranelle offers fine-art prints produced to order in the sizes, paper types, and options displayed on each product page at the time of purchase.
Each print is made individually. Minor variations in colour, tone, texture, or finish may occur due to the nature of fine-art printing, paper, screen settings, and production processes.
Product images, mockups, and room previews are provided for illustrative purposes. They are intended to help show the artwork in context and may not represent exact scale, frame style, colour, or final display conditions.
Moranelle may update, modify, or discontinue products at any time.
1.2 Digital Products, Where Applicable
Where digital products are offered on the website, they are delivered by download or by a secure link sent to the email address provided at checkout.
Digital preview images are illustrative. Colours may vary depending on screen settings, software, and display device.
2. Prices, Taxes and Payment
Prices are displayed in the currency shown at checkout.
For customers located in the European Union, prices may include VAT where applicable, in accordance with the tax rules applied at checkout.
For customers located outside the European Union, including the United States and Canada, customs duties, import taxes, clearance fees, carrier administration fees, or similar charges may apply upon arrival in the destination country. These charges are not included in the product price or shipping cost paid at checkout, unless explicitly stated otherwise at the time of purchase.
The customer is responsible for any customs duties, import taxes, clearance fees, or similar charges applied by the destination country or carrier.
Payment is due in full at the time of order through the payment methods available at checkout. By placing an order, you confirm that you are authorised to use the selected payment method.
Your bank, card issuer, or payment provider may apply currency conversion fees or other charges. These fees are the customer’s responsibility.
3. Order Confirmation
After placing an order, you will receive an order confirmation by email.
It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure that all order details are correct, including the delivery address, email address, selected product, size, quantity, and any chosen options.
If you notice an error after placing your order, please contact us as soon as possible at contact@moranelle.com. We cannot guarantee that changes can be made once the order has entered production or has been dispatched.
4. Order Cancellation Before Dispatch
Customers may contact us at contact@moranelle.com to request cancellation of an order before it has entered production or before it has been dispatched.
Because Moranelle products are produced to order, cancellation requests cannot always be guaranteed once production has started.
If the order has already been dispatched, it can no longer be cancelled. Where applicable, the customer may still exercise their statutory withdrawal right after delivery, in accordance with our Returns & Refunds Policy.
5. Shipping
Physical products are shipped to the countries currently served by Moranelle, including the European Union, the United States, and Canada.
Estimated preparation and delivery times are shown at checkout and may vary depending on order volume, destination, postal services, and carrier availability.
Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on the weight, size, destination, and available shipping method for the order.
You will receive an email when your order enters production, and another email when your order has been dispatched. A tracking number will be provided whenever available.
For full shipping conditions, including delivery issues, customs fees, refused parcels, and split shipments, please refer to our Shipping Policy.
6. International Orders, Customs and Import Fees
For orders shipped outside the European Union, customs duties, import taxes, clearance fees, carrier administration fees, or similar charges may apply upon arrival in the destination country.
These charges are the customer’s responsibility. Moranelle cannot control or predict these fees, as they depend on local regulations and carrier procedures.
If a parcel is refused by the customer, or if customs duties, import taxes, clearance fees, or carrier fees are not paid and the parcel is returned to Moranelle, the customer remains responsible for all costs resulting from the refusal or non-payment.
Original shipping costs are non-refundable. Any return shipping costs, customs charges, clearance fees, carrier administration fees, or other costs charged to Moranelle may be deducted from any refund. If the parcel is not returned to Moranelle, no refund can be issued.
7. Right of Withdrawal and Returns
7.1 Non-Custom Physical Products
For non-custom physical products purchased in the standard sizes and options listed on the product page, consumers may have a statutory right of withdrawal within 14 days of receipt, in accordance with applicable consumer law.
Returned products must be unused, unframed, undamaged, and returned in their original protective sleeve and packaging, or in equivalent protective packaging.
For standard withdrawal returns, return shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility, unless otherwise required by law or unless the return is due to an error, defect, damage, or another situation for which Moranelle is legally responsible.
7.2 Custom or Personalised Products
Custom or personalised products are not eligible for return under the statutory withdrawal right, in accordance with Article L221-28, 3° of the French Consumer Code.
This includes products made according to the customer’s specific request, such as custom sizes, custom shapes, custom crops, special layout adjustments, personalised changes, or paper options not normally offered on the product page.
7.3 Digital Products, Where Applicable
Where digital products are offered, the statutory withdrawal right may no longer apply once the supply of digital content without a physical medium has begun, where the applicable legal conditions are met.
This may apply where the customer has expressly agreed to immediate delivery and acknowledged the loss of the withdrawal right.
For full return and refund conditions, please refer to our Returns & Refunds Policy.
8. Damaged, Defective, Incorrect or Missing Orders
Please contact us promptly at contact@moranelle.com if:
- the product arrives damaged;
- the product shows a manufacturing defect;
- the wrong item was delivered;
- the order is confirmed as lost in transit;
- the parcel is marked as delivered by the carrier but has not been received.
Depending on the situation, Moranelle may offer a replacement, a refund, or another appropriate solution.
Photographic evidence may be required, including photos of the damaged item, packaging, and shipping label.
9. Legal Guarantee of Conformity
Nothing in these Terms of Sale limits the statutory rights available to consumers under applicable consumer law.
For physical goods, the seller must provide goods that conform to the contract and to the legal criteria of conformity. French consumer law provides a legal guarantee of conformity for goods under Articles L217-3 and following of the French Consumer Code.
For digital content or digital services, where applicable, French consumer law provides specific rules concerning conformity of digital content and digital services. In case of lack of conformity, the consumer may be entitled to conformity, price reduction, or cancellation of the contract under the conditions set out by law.
Damage caused after delivery, including improper handling, humidity, incorrect framing, unsuitable display conditions, or other misuse, is not covered.
10. Customer Responsibilities
The customer is responsible for:
- providing accurate order and delivery information;
- checking product details, size, format, and options before placing an order;
- ensuring that the delivery address is complete and correct;
- paying any applicable customs duties, import taxes, clearance fees, or carrier fees for international orders;
- handling, storing, framing, and displaying the product appropriately after delivery.
Moranelle cannot be held responsible for issues caused by incorrect information provided by the customer or by improper handling after delivery.
11. Intellectual Property
All content on moranelle.com, including product images, photographs, text, layout, branding, and visual presentation, is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
Purchasing a product does not transfer ownership of any intellectual property rights. Products are sold for personal display and decorative use only, unless otherwise expressly stated in writing.
Customers may not reproduce, resell, distribute, scan, digitise, modify, or commercially exploit Moranelle products, files, images, or content without prior written permission.
